Directions:
Approximately 7.5 miles east of Flagstaff. From Interstate 40, take Exit 204 and turn south. The Walnut Canyon Visitor Center is located at the end of this three-mile road.

Historical Significance:
Governor Hunt (second from left in the picture below) and other dignitaries joined the women of ASDAR for the ceremony in 1915. Shortly thereafter, Walnut Canyon was declared a National Monument.
